The Hus am Golfplatz is located in the upper part of Klosters, known as Selfranga, at the end of a quiet road, with nothing but the golf course between it and the mountains. Nearby is the charming family-run hotel and restaurant, the Chesa Selfranga, serving traditional Swiss specialities such as rösti and fondue in a friendly, cosy ambience. It is just a short walk, or an even shorter bus ride, down to the village centre, with its shops and other amenities.

Klosters still retains its traditional feel, with virtually all the buildings in wooden chalet style, and despite being popular with royalty and celebrities, it is not over-expensive or glitzy. It is, however, a thriving and well-maintained village, offering a host of activities against the backdrop of the stunning mountain landscape.

Klosters is only 13 km (8 miles) from the many attractions of Davos. The train service to Davos, and beyond as far as Filisur, is free with your Guest Card.

Thanks to the Rhaetian Railways network of spectacular narrow-gauge railways (including a car-train service through the Vereina Tunnel), or, alternatively, stunning mountain passes such as the Fluela, Albula and Julier, Klosters is also within easy reach of Chur, St. Moritz, the Swiss National Park and the beautiful Engadin valley.
